Mission Statement:

Our mission is to provide special needs children with resources to increase learning engagement and enable families to provide adequate tools for learning challenges. According to the National Institute of Health 1 in 7 children has a learning disability. A learning disability describes a neurobiological disorder in which a person’s brain works or is structured differently. Expand Possibilities  recognizes these challenges and our main goal is to raise funds to support the Friendship Circle and to provide resources to increase learning engagement in children.

The mission of the Friendship Circle is to meet the complete physical, occupational, emotional and social needs of special needs children in a comprehensive, professional and effective manner; to include the special needs family in the treatment of their children, tending to their needs as well; to foster the values of volunteerism and compassion among our youth; and to ultimately realize the community's responsibility for its special needs members.

Our campaign will impact our target market by providing materials that will assist children during activities to help them work around their difficulties of reading, writing, communication skills, spelling and memorization. The two activities our fundraiser will focus on within the Friendship Circle org will be life skills and social circles. These two activities allows kids to first partake in free play , movement instruction and arts and craft. Secondly kids will have the ability to practice life skills such as inter/intrapersonal communication, location specific goals, money skills and personal responsibility.
