Hello! We are students at the University of North Texas with a passion for helping others. Would you like to join us in supporting a great cause? 

Since January 1, 1999, All Star Equestrian Foundation has been a successful provider of therapeutic horseback riding for those faced with mental, physical, and emotional challenges. Riders that attend this center have disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism, and intellectual disorders, amongst other diagnoses. Therefore, we feel compelled to not only support this organization, but also bring awareness to the precious souls that seek help and acceptance. 

As described in the success stories below, these courageous individuals each came to All Star with challenges they face day-to-day. However, with some focused time, effort, and attention, their circumstances became far more manageable thanks to the techniques used by All Star's horses and PATH certified instructors and therapists. Considering each rider's diagnoses are different, All Star prioritizes addressing everyone's needs based on their individual restrictions, ability, and age. Needless to say, this organization has everyone's best interests at heart and strives to help change lives in every way they can! 

Please help us bring hope to these individuals and their families. Any donation will help make an impact. Together, with your help, our goal is to achieve All Star's SUPER NOVA sponsorship level of $7,500 or more!

All donations will go directly to All Star and are tax deductible. Reaching Super Nova sponsorship could provide tangible benefits such as:

*  Up to fifteen 3-month rider scholarships
   (at $500 per rider, per 3-month semester)
*  Participation in the area and state Special Olympics
    ($1,500 and $3,500 per year, respectively)
*  A variety of equipment, tack, and horse care to
    keep our riders & horses safe and healthy:
           Saddles/Tack ($ 1,200 per saddle)
           Helmet renewal  ($ 350 annually)
           Blankets/Pad  ($ 200 per pad)
           Adaptive tack  ($ 500 annually)
           Horse maintenance (Farrier, Vet, Feed, Hay ~$3,200 per month)

All Star Success Stories

Below are just a few examples of the many incredible outcomes that donor contributions like yours help make possible:

     Emma was born with Cerebral Palsy and had severe weakness in her legs and core muscles. As a result, she required a wheelchair most of the time. She started riding with All Star as a teenager for an hour, once a week, and within three months of riding, she no longer needed the wheelchair on a day-to-day basis. Today, she can even lead her horse through the arena sand.

     Ryan, a 3-year-old with autism, was nonverbal and had a severe sensory disorder. He would not even touch a squishy ball. Within a year of joining All Star, he was playing with anything he could touch, giving his parents hugs, and was able to answer questions and provide the horse with basic commands correctly and without being prompted.

     Danny was born with Down Syndrome. He started riding with All Star twenty years ago when he was about ten years old. Today he owns his own horse and competes in the Chisholm Challenge at the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

As All Star's Veronica Wolfe, says, "At All Star, we do not see disabilities, only abilities!"
